From Experience to Purpose
For more than 15 years, Kimberly Johnson has served adults with special needs, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and traumatic brain injuries. Throughout her career, she witnessed firsthand the challenges families face when searching for compassionate, dependable care.
But professional experience was only part of her story.
A Personal Mission
As the mother of children with special needs, Kimberly understands the daily responsibilities, emotional challenges, and unwavering love caregivers experience.
Her journey gave her a unique perspective—not just as a provider, but as a caregiver herself.
Why James L.J.?
The James L.J. Center is named after Kimberly's late brother, James.
His struggles with mental illness while incarcerated left a lasting impact on her heart.
She never wanted another individual to experience loneliness, isolation, or the feeling of being forgotten.
Every smile shared, every friendship created, and every meaningful day at the center honors his memory.

Activity & Personal Care Assistant
Tiffeny J.
Tiffeny is passionate about enriching the lives of older adults by providing compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care. She believes every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and genuine compassion. Through meaningful relationships, emotional support, and engaging daily interactions, Tiffeny is committed to helping each participant maintain the highest possible quality of life while creating a safe, welcoming environment where they feel valued and cared for.

ZaRiah
ZaRiah is dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults through engaging activities, compassionate care, and meaningful connections. She is passionate about creating a positive, welcoming environment where every participant feels valued, respected, and supported. With a caring heart and a commitment to enhancing each person's quality of life, Shakenna strives to make every day enjoyable, purposeful, and filled with dignity.
Registered Nurse
Kristen Fells, RN
Kristen is a compassionate Registered Nurse who brings both clinical expertise and a heart for serving others to The James L.J. Center. She is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where every participant feels valued, respected, and cared for like family. Her commitment to quality, person-centered care makes her an invaluable part of our mission to enrich the lives of those we serve.
